Zandra Rhodes was one of the new wave of British designers who put London at the forefront of the international fashion scene in the 1970s. Her designs are glamorous and extroverted. Her unique use of bold prints, feminine patterns and theatrical use of colour has given her garments a timeless quality that makes them unmistakably a Rhodes creation. She is still designing and her vintage pieces have long been collected by designers Tom Ford and Anna Sui. Why not add this top to your own vintage fashion collection?

This deep blue jersey top is from the 1970s, yet it is so contemporary. It features a copper satin bodice, front and back, with the feel of a Roman tunic.
